衛生福利部於 2016 年 12 月 14 日公告修正「食品業者對其輸入食品（含基因改造食品原料）應保存之相關紀錄、文件及電子檔案或資料庫」，自同日生效。該修正係配合 2016 年 6 月 8 日起生效之「食品及相關產品追溯追蹤系統管理辦法」部分條文修正，新增應保存之產品資訊項目，保存期限則修正為海關放行日期後 5 年。

The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on December 14, 2016, an amendment to the Regulations Governing the Retainment of Related Records, Documents, Electronic Files or Databases of Imported Products (Including Genetically Modified Food Raw Materials) by Food Enterprises, taking effect on the same date. In line with the amended Regulations Governing Traceability of Foods and Relevant Products effective as of June 8, 2016, certain compulsory retainment information of the imported products is added and the retainment period is stipulated to be five years from the customs clearance date.
