行政院勞工委員會於 102 年 12 月 17 日發佈新聞稿，提醒自 103 年 1 月 1 日起，每小時基本工資將由現行 109 元調整為 115 元；同年 7 月 1 日起，每月基本工資由 19,047 元調整為 19,273 元。雇主如違反基本工資規定，除可處新台幣 2 萬元至 30 萬元之罰鍰外，主管機關亦得視情況公布事業單位或事業主之名稱、負責人姓名。

On December 17, 2013, the Council of Labor Affairs issued a press release reiterating that as of January 1, 2014, the minimum hourly basic wage was adjusted from NT$109 per hour to NT$115 per hour, and as of July 1, 2014, the minimum monthly basic wage will be adjusted from NT$19,047 to NT$19,273. For employers violating the provisions set out for the basic wages above, in addition to an administrative fine of between NT$20,000 and NT$300,000 imposed on the employer, the competent authority may publicly announce the name of the business entities, the owner of the business entity, and/or the name of the responsible person as the case may be.
