The laws involved in inter-hospital patient transfer include Emergency Medical Act and its administrative rules besides basically Civil Law, Criminal Law, Medical Law and Physician Law. This issue will discuss about: 1. Obligations of transfer hospitals and physicians; 2. Obligations of receiving hospitals and physicians; 3. Legal issues of against advice discharge （AAD）; 4. Obligations of ambulance companies and staffs; 5. Legal relationship between transfer hospitals and ambulance companies.
